WAHOO!!!

If any of you remember I have a country singer i am a HUGE fan of...she is a nonamer but she has a new cd finally coming out...after me waiting for over 3 years. MEGAN MULLINS is her name and her first release can now be found on ITUNES!!! "LONG PAST GONE."

Or you can go to this site
http://www.the9513.com/megan-mullins-long-past-gone/
and listen to the whole thing. I am SOOO looking forward to this c.d. This girl is AMAZING!! She is right up there with Taylor Swift in my eyes.

ONE MORE GOAL TO ADD TO THE LIST...

THIS is the other thing that I really really really really want to do this summer....go on the WIPEOUT obstacle course!!! I seriously don't think I have ever alughed so hard in my life as I do when I watch this show!! If you have not seen it...it is a MUST!!!!!

SO currently WIPEOUT is on a roadtrip tour...to the east side (dang it), but if I can find a good southwest DING to the east I am so there. But if it comes back to CALI soon you can bet I will be there the first day outside the set sleeping in the blue l.s.s.

PROJECTS and lovin it!!!

SO i have been making projects that last few days and just loving it!! So here are a few for you to view.....

HERE is an apron that I saw the patten on line about 8 months ago and LOVED IT. This material was supposed to be a spring table runner but I loved it too much to not make an apron from it.

Here is just another table cloth I made with leftover materials

Here is a recipe card holder that my friend Kris had and I just had to make my own.

But the sheet metal came in a HUGE sheet so I ended up making about twenty of them while I was at it. They are for sale if anyone is interested in a cute gift....$12.And remember when I blogged about that wood I found in the dumpster...here is the remnents of one of them.

I also made this huge magnent board for the house. They are charging a ridiculous amount for them at the craft stores...like $35 bucks...mine cost me $7.00 granted I already had some of the materials.
So that is what i have been up to the last few days...loving it!!!!

Dateless and can't imagine why...

Played a soccor game on Sat and did a quick oil change on my car when I got home. I spent a little time under the hood getting to know the new rig. I ran inside the house and caught a glimpse of my arm and just had to laugh. No wonder the guys don't ask ya out I thought to myself and laughed!!

Kite flyin....from the car of course

Gentry and I were shopping one day and ran across these little friendly kites for 88cents and just couldn't pass them up. Actually...there were supposed to be part of a wedding present for Er and Ryan but we decided to keep them for ourselves because they are a pain to wrap. I chose SPIDERMAN....Gent got Hanna Montana. (lame)

of course it didn't take long for me to desire a fast higher means of kite flying and it wasn't long b4 we were flying kites from the good ol blue l.s.s. Most of that footage can be found via camcorder but it wasn't quite what I envisioned. The little kites weren't much for 40 mph winds.

But good ol Gent got the gang scooters out and they were perfect for kite flying!!!
That is...it WAS perfect....til Jillian flew Hanna into a tree. Of course Jillian thought it was funny...but it wasn't ....that was Gentrys unemployed 88cents hanging there!!

of course everyone looks at me for help.
So I provided emergency relief.

And here are the kites once again safe.....except for the one that Jillian is holding.

Race for the cure

The roomies and I did race for the cure after a long night without sleep. We also had a bit of a photo shoot afterwards....here are a few for you to enjoy.

TRIBUTE TO THE BLUE L.S.S.

i WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE A TRIBUTE TO THE BLUE L.S.S THE MOST FAITHFUL MEMBER OF MY FAMILY. SHE HAS BEEN THERE THROUGH COLLEGE, IDAHO, UTAH, CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON AND THE LIST GOES ON. SHE WOULD TAKE ME TO HAWAII IF I ASKED HER TO. SHE HAS BEEN THERE THROUGH THE LONG 'POST BREAKUP' DRIVES AND THE LONG 'HE WON'T ASK ME OUT DRIVES' AND THE LONG 'HE TURNED ME DOWN DRIVES' AND LETS NOT FORGET THE VERY TEARFUL 'I HAVE TO GO ON A MISSION' DRIVE.

i WORKED IT OUT TODAY AND FIGURED THAT I PAID $2500 BUCKS FOR HER TEN YEARS AGO. AND IF YOU WORK THAT OUT IT COMES TO $20 BUCKS A MONTH OR JUST AROUND 69 CENTS A DAY. WOW WHAT A GIRL.

SO NOW THE TIME HAS COME TO LET HER GO, WITH MUCH REGRET. I AM HAVING A HARD TIME DECIDING WHAT TO DO WITH HER. SHE STILL WAITS OUTSIDE MY DOOR WAITING TO BE DRIVEN BUT DUE TO AIR CONDITIONING CIRCUMSTANCES AND NOTHING MORE I HAVE TO TURN HER DOWN. I CAN ONLY STAND TO DRIVE HER BEFORE 10AM OR AFTER 9 PM. HONESTLY IF SHE HAD A/C I WOULD STILL BE DRIVING HER.

SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH HER....SHOULD I SELL HER? I WAS THINKING ABOUT MAYBE SELLING HER TO A PARTS YARD...THAT WAY IT IS KINDOF LIKE SHE IS A LIVE DONOR AND SHE CAN KEEP MORE CARS LIKE HERSELF ALIVE AND PIECES OF HER WILL BE EVERYWHERE LIKE A LINGERING SPIRIT. WE HAVE HAD A TALK AND SHE UNDERSTANDS WHAT A TOUGHT CHOICE THIS IS FOR ME.

SO IN TRIBUTE TO BLUE L.S.S (BLUE LITTLE SUPER SHIT) FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT IT STANDS FOR...I WOULD LIIKE YOU TO COMMENT ON YOUR FAVORITE BLUE L.S.S. MOMMENT. .. A TIME SHE WOULDN'T START, A TIME SHE RAN OUT OF GAS, A TIME SHE RAN INTO YOUR CAR, A TIME YOU RAN INTO HER WHATEVER IT BE...PLEASE SHARE YOUR FONDEST MOMMENT AND PAY YOUR TRIBUTES TO MY MOST CHERISHED FRIEND.

A FEW RECENT MOMMENTS WITH THE BLUE L.S.S INCLUDE

>DRIVING ALL WINTER TO IDAHO AND BACK IN SUB ZERO TEMPS WITH NO HEATER OR DEFROST

>SLIDING ON ICE INTO KRIS'S PATHFINDER AND PAYING FOR A NEW BUMPER FOR HER RIG

>KICKING THE ICE OFF THE HEADLIGHTS WITH MY FOOT AND ACCIDENTLY KICKING IN THE HEADLIGHT

> GENTRY POINTING OUT THE FACT THAT MY HEADLIGHTS SHINE ON THE TOP OF THE TREES RATHER THAN THE ROAD.
>JULIE AND I DRIVING HER OVER THE TOP OF A HUGE CURB AT 7-11. IT WAS TWICE HER SIZE AND SHE WAS IN THE PARK POSITION...NOT EVEN A RUNNING START AND SHE TOOK IT ON! AMAZING I TELL YOU.
>DID I MENTION THAT HER BUMPER HAS BEEN HELD ON WITH NOTHING BUT TIE STRAPS FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS

SIGH of beauty

Anyone who knows me, knows that I find few things more beautiful then an old barn sitting out in an open field. I have started collecting pictures of beautiful barns and this one is one of my favorites. It is right near my Washington home and it is a sight to behold. Angelic in my eyes.

Saw it, loved it, stole it

I just saw this on my sisters blog and LOVED it..so I stole it for my own blog

BURIED TREASURE!!!!

So me and roomie GEntry went RUnNIn other day when my eye caught a jewel I just could NOT pass up.....it was a diamond in the ruff........there in the dumpster were brand spankin new...tags still on them.....six fresh 2x4's about eight feet long each!!!
So since I couldn't run the two miles home with them I returned later that night with the roomies & the blue L.S.S. to take them to a loving and caring home! I am SOOOO excited to build something with them but I just can't choose what it will be!!!

PRojects

SO I just have to warn ya...this is NOT an exciting blog in any way. But with my renewed singleness I have found time to complete a ton of projects that I wanted to do or just started and not finished.

HERE IS MY TABLE CLOTH for the summer...my goal is to sew a table runner or cloth for all the seasons. My aunt had seasonal table cloths at her house and I just LOVED it!

Here is an accent pillow I made too. Thanks to the roomie Jillian she gave me the idea to sew a couple of placemats that i didn't like together to make this little dilly.

This is my grandmas trunk.. I coveted it for years and she gave it to me. I love this antique trunk. It was at my parents forever and now I have it again in my possession..thanks to Kris. Now I just need to make a nice liner for it.

This is my next project...stole it from my friend Kris. The pic isn't very good but it is super cute, recipe holder.
